This is the Digest from 2002 for the Category of: Enterprise Drabbles

9An Everyday Occurance
I like this loads. It made me smile, it let T'Pol think of deserved vengeance. And it says a lot about looking at things from different perspectives. And, again, it made me chuckle, which is always a good thing.

1yAFTERSHOCK
This drabble shows yet another facet of T'Pol's acceptance of things outside what the Vulcan Science Directorate holds as true...more growth for the character. She didn't admit it in "Shockwave," but we all know she was really thinking what was expressed here. Nice.

2BEFORE THE DAWN
Nice little twist to look at Reed's reaction in an Tucker-centric episode! I'll have to watch again just to see it.
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 14:55:49 -0500

3The Catwalk
I simply can't say enough for this drabble! I loved, loved, loved it the first time, and reading it again I still laugh! What a creative way of looking at the title, and the scary part is, I can actually hear Archer's voice doing the commenting! Love the T'Pol "hot, hot, hot" description! Bravo!
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 14:58:47 -0500

5Con-Fusion
Very nice. T'Pol is a bundle of emotions whether she (and other Vulcans) want to admit it or not. As humans, we often try to supress the negative and enjoy the positive. T'Pol points this out without realizing we go through it every day of our lives.
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 15:06:58 -0500

7Double Bind
Apropos, especially considering the later season developments where Archer is called to mediate between the Vulcans and Andorians. Seems his place may be among the diplomats, and this drabble foreshadows that very well.
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 15:12:30 -0500

8DUAE MENTES
Interesting. T'Pol becomes self-aware that what others see about her may not be what she really means to project. A place for growth, perhaps?
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 15:15:11 -0500

9An Everyday Occurance
::Laugh!:: Good ol' Trip, putting another one over on our favorite Vulcan. Sometimes logic has blinders on, and it takes a southern boy to point that out. Nice touch with T'Pol's internal reaction!
-- KayJay - Sat, 01 Mar 2003 15:18:15 -0500

3The Catwalk
I thought this drabble was cute and a clever play on the episode's (and drabble's) title.
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:44:39 -0500

5Con-Fusion
Title and drabble nicely captures T’Pol’s state after her encounter with Tolaris.
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:45:19 -0500

7Double Bind
This was a very enjoyable entry in Snowleopard's drabble series about payback that takes in all the different Trek series. I liked the form this payback took in the Enterprise installment. This is a truly a very enjoyable drabble that makes good use of Enterprise canon to date within its small, compact space.
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:45:57 -0500

9An Everyday Occurance
This was a delightful drabble and made me wish we could see a full-fledged Enterprise story from Rocky someday. I liked Trip's perception about time travel at the same time I could feel sympathy for T’Pol's reaction to it. Nice twist and evocation of characters in such a small space. This is very well done.

11Job Description
This drabble was a groaner. I mean that in a *good* way.
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:47:23 -0500

12Keep It To Yourself
LOL! This drabble was good for a hearty chuckle. I very much liked how Kay Jay conjured up Trip's voice and personality in the small, confined space of a drabble's one hundred words. This drabble also manages to deliver an interesting observation about human/alien interaction on the Enterprise. A very nice job.
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:48:04 -0500

28Sword of the Musketeer
This drabble was a whole lot of fun. It made me think of a Cheshire cat slowly dissolving. Poor Porthos!
-- Rabble Rouser - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 03:48:44 -0500

3The Catwalk
A very creative take on the title of this episode. A pleasure to read.
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:06:59 -0500

7Double Bind
A very thoughtful look at an un-winnable 'war'
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:13:23 -0500

9An Everyday Occurance
Hmmm ... not what one usually thinks of when 'time travel' is mentioned, but very true, nonetheless.
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:16:02 -0500

11Job Description
A fun read.
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:18:22 -0500

12Keep It To Yourself
This may be 'your thought' spoken through Tucker's lips, but I have a feeling they are his, as well. Very much in character.
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:21:13 -0500

18Pun-ishment 10
Hmmm, I'm not sure if I should laugh or cringe. Puns generate that kind of reaction from me all the time. Well done.
-- TLin - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 13:23:28 -0500

7Double Bind
A very interesting look at the conflict between the Tandarans and the Suliban. Not to mention, it's also a terrific start to Paula's Six Battles in Search of a War" drabble series.
-- Seema - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 23:38:59 -0500

9An Everyday Occurance
LOL, this got Trip's voice exactly down and the best part of it, something so complicated and technical as time travel is actually quite simple. Good job!
-- Seema - Sun, 02 Mar 2003 23:41:05 -0500

12Keep It To Yourself
Very amusing and the voice is exactly Trip! I can totally see him having this reaction.
-- Seema - Mon, 03 Mar 2003 15:42:00 -0500

28Sword of the Musketeer
BWAHAHAHA! Eye of newt, tongue of rat...a little chameleon for what ailes you. Cute!
-- KayJay - Tue, 04 Mar 2003 23:31:09 -0500

9An Everyday Occurance
Funny :).
-- Michele - Fri, 07 Mar 2003 12:52:14 -0500

7Double Bind
As usual, Paula packed a punch in a just a few words. Drabbles are hard, especially good ones, but Paula makes it look easy.
-- Meghan Elizabeth - Sun, 09 Mar 2003 20:19:29 -0500

13MAN'S BEST FRIEND
T'Lin did a great job at showing Archer's emotions in this episode and in a drabble as well. Wonderful.
-- Meghan Elizabeth - Sun, 09 Mar 2003 20:20:37 -0500

18Pun-ishment 10
That was just great. I must have laughed for ten minutes. Very creative.
-- Meghan Elizabeth - Sun, 09 Mar 2003 20:22:01 -0500

16THE NEW IMPROVED HOSHI SATO
I have enjoyed reading T'Lin's Enterprise drabbles. The characterization of T'Pol seems quite accurate, and I particularly like her growing friendship with Hoshi.
-- Ventura33 - Fri, 14 Mar 2003 08:13:45 -0500

19PRECIOUS CARGO: MEDICAL LOG
Gotta love Phlox's comments on Tucker's imprudent behavior, and how much he wants to give Tucker a lecture about it.
-- Ventura33 - Fri, 14 Mar 2003 08:20:51 -0500

28Sword of the Musketeer
Hee! This one sure had me laughing! Just what that ridiculous episode needed -- a bit of sarcastic fanfic to add the finishing touches!
-- Ventura33 - Fri, 14 Mar 2003 08:23:56 -0500

12Keep It To Yourself
Snicker! I guess poor Tucker just isn't cut out for life as a diplomat, is he?
