It seemed only right that we use the song “Proving Ground” by the group
Penance to parody this fairly decent episode of Enterprise.  And so, with
apologies to Weston, Smail and Balich, we sing...

Oh boy... here we go again
With the Andorian’s help
The Xindi weapon is near
a new hand is dealt

This machine Degra created
Nearly splits a moon
Like no other
But it sputters
Thanks to Gralik... dealt a wound

Talas makes nice with Malcolm
But she wants to sabotage
She did not realize
She’d be overcome

Cause in the end Archer conquers
Commander Shran’s ship limps away
And Starfleet can analyze all the data
In the end they will win the game!
