HALL OF HORRORS

The cadets watched as he swaggered into Admiralty Hall.  "There's Cartwright,"
Eduardo muttered, "Starfleet's Despot-In-Chief."

"That's hardly fair," Larry protested.  "He's tough, but he's got our best
interests at heart."

"Really?" Hannah demanded bitterly.  "My 'best interest' includes being
obliged to submit to ritual humiliation?!?"

"It's a lesson in obeying orders.  Even distasteful ones."

"Dios! Larry, I can't believe..."

"Believe what you want," Larry sneered coldly. "They're protecting us against
alien scum - and their traitorous allies!"

"My ass, 'Protect'!" Hannah fumed, "That place is evil!"

Cadet Richard Grayson, a.k.a. Peter Kirk, thought angrily, *You don't know the
half of it!*
