Author's Note: Written for the trek100 "omen" challenge.

Disclaimer: Paramount owns the characters, I just borrow them from
time to time. Calhoun and his motley group are a source of great
amusement to me; my favorite of the Trek books.

Calhoun read the report from Kebron and rubbed his eyes. Barely out of
spacedock and already a problem -- a big one -- in the form of former
Thallonian prince, Lord Si Cwan. He'd stowed away in Lt. Soleta's
luggage. Surprise, surprise! 

And now, what to do with him? Drop him off at the nearest Starbase and
let him be someone else's problem? Dump Soleta with him? No, he needed
her.

Calhoun tossed the padd onto his desk and leaned back in his chair. If
this was an omen of things to come, they were in for one hell of a
mission.
