Author's Note: Written for the trek100 "long lost memories" challenge.
They all might not technically deal with "long lost" memories, but
they're connected. :)

Harry bumped into a Ferengi on his way to get a drink. "Sorry," he
apologized, and continued to the bar.
 
Seeing the Ferengi reminded him of his experience on DS9, before
reporting for the first time to Voyager. The bartender had been a
hairsbreadth away from convincing him to buy some overpriced gems for
his mother. Only Tom Paris' quick intervention had saved him from
wasting hard-earned latinum. Who would have guessed the friendship
that would be forged that day? Certainly not Harry, nor Tom. 

"Here's to Ferengi merchants," Harry said, taking his drink and
lifting it in a toast.
