(caitn @ mindspring.com Series: VOY Characters: Janeway Codes: drabble Copyright: Feburary 2004 Website: www.asstr.org/~CaitN/ www.geocities.com/trekluvr Summary: The 20th anniversary of Voyager's return to the Alpha Author's Note: Written for the trek100 "long lost memories" challenge. They all might not technically deal with "long lost" memories, but they're connected. :) Disclaimer: Paramount owns the characters, I just borrow them from time to time. = = = = = = = Janeway surveyed the ballroom. She'd agreed with Tom -- the twentieth anniversary of their return to the Alpha Quadrant was a good excuse for a party. Sometimes she was still amazed they'd actually made it. Her eyes skimmed the room, taking in her former crew. They were her family, every one of them, and they always would be. Reassignment, promotion, nor death could change that. With a pang of sadness, she thought of her father. What he'd say about her family, about all she'd accomplished -- and hadn't. She smiled, knowing exactly what he'd say: You done good, Little Bird.
