Mutiny ... an ugly word, full of negative connotations. Historically, the 
mutineers were always in the wrong. 

History *could* be mistaken.

Be that as it may, I cannot fault Hayes for supporting the Captain ... had I 
not been on the receiving end of his paranoia, I probably would have opted to 
do things "by the book" as well. It's what we are taught, after all. 

In any case, Hayes and I have gained a bit of respect for one another ... and 
perhaps even a certain level of trust. At least I think so ... I can only 
hope he feels the same.
