It seems I've misplaced a ship.  I installed as this awards's Caretaker, 
and now after the section has closed, I've misplaced the Voyager.  I'm not 
sure how it happened.  I was sure it was around her somewhere... No, I'm 
sure it's not under my old banjo.  And NO! I don't want to play dueling 
banjos against you!

Excuse me ... where was I ... oh yes.

The Voyager Section of the Awards closed at 10pm tonight.  We're still 
voting in the Miscellaneous Section on such categories as:

  Bashir Fuhq Fest
    Engineer Fuhq Fest
      Femme Fuhq Fest
        Other Fuhq Fest
         Pon Far Fuhq Fest
           Spock / Dax
            MIS or TSU Author
              MIS or TSU Story

These lovely categories go on for one more week, ending at 10pm on March 
22.  I promise to be very entertaining with that section's close, as I have 
plenty of characters I know to work with.

And now opening is the Overall Section, including these lovely categories:

  All Stories
    All Authors
      All Challenges
        All Drabbles
          New Author
            All Poems or Filks
              All Series or Suites
                Ruth Gifford Award

The last of these is of course the Ruth Gifford Award for Newsgroup 
Contribution.  These are generally for non-story contribution.  Everyone 
can vote for as many of these as you want ... but a comment as to why or a 
note of thanks for what they did is mandatory.  One point will be awarded 
for each person thanking someone.  In addition, I will be implementing ASC 
style Digests of these comments.  There is quite a bit of non-story 
activity on ASCEML, not just the Admin type, so I expect no one to have any 
shortage of choices.  I will be commenting on at least 5 myself.

The Overall section closes at 10PM EST on the 29th.
