~ Part 8 ~

By the time Commander Riker made it back to the Enterprise, he was 
royally pissed.  Bajoran security let the Cardassians go back to 
their ship but decided to keep Starfleet personnel over night.  
According to the Chief of Security, Constable Odo, `to cool off', 
and according to the commanding officer of DS9, Captain Sisko, `they 
expected more decency out of Starfleet personnel.'

On top of that, Deanna walked out on him, leaving him in the brig.  
He even heard her talking to that Cardassian, Gul Dukat, setting up 
a date.  A date!  And this whole thing started because of her and 
because Dukat didn't keep his hands off of her.

As soon as Riker made it back to his quarter, he searched for 
Deanna.  He called out, <Computer, location of Counselor Troi. >

<~Beep~ Counselor Troi is not aboard the Enterprise. >

((What?  Did she go back to DS9 already?))  He inquired again, <What 
time did she leave the Enterprise? >

<~Beep~ Counselor Troi left the Enterprise at 1300. >

((That means she hadn't been back since yesterday.))  He panicked.  
Was something wrong with Deanna?  <Riker to Picard. >

<Number one, you're back.  How was the accommodation in the brig? >

<Captain, Deanna didn't come back last night. >

<She contacted me.  She made arrangements to stay on the station 
over night. >

<Do you know with whom? >

<No, she didn't mention names.  Is something wrong, Commander? >

<No, sir.  I was just curious.  Riker out. >  ((So, she never came 
back from the station.  Whom did she stay with?))

Thanks to Dr. Bashir, her arms were as good as new.  She hadn't been 
back on board in almost two days and it'll be nice to sleep in her 
own bed for change.  She wasn't going back to DS9 until tomorrow 
afternoon for a date with Damar.  She did all the shopping she 
wanted for a while.  She planned to just relax and rest but before 
she could make it to her quarter, she ran into Commander Riker when 
he suddenly appeared in her path.  "So I see they let you out, 
Commander," she greeted.

"Yea, this morning."  Then looked her up and down at her leather 
like two-piece, Julian bought for her.  "Nice outfit.  New?"

"A gift."

He took a step closer, invading her personal space.  "I see you 
didn't make it back last night."

"Nope," she answered and tried to go around him but he blocked her 
path.  "Where did you stay?"

"Don't you mean with whom?" she asked as she crossed her arm over 
her chest.  "That's none of your business."

Then suddenly Riker changed his attitude.  He leaned, towering over 
her.  "I'm just worried about you, baby."

"Well don't worry, Commander.  I can handle myself.  I handled you 
last night."

His mood changed again.  "What was that last night?!  Did you wanna 
fuck Dukat?"

She was sick and tired of his possessiveness as she declared, "I 
already did."

He was getting madder.  "What about me?!"

"What about you?" she returned his question.

His face was turning red.  "Don't I get some too?"

She knew she should have stopped but she kept going as she 
said, "When I'm in the mood and only when I'm in the mood for rough 
sex."  Then she looked right into his eyes as she told him, "Right 
now, I'm not in the mood, so if you'll excuse me," and started to 
walk by him but he grabbed her by the arm as he yelled, "I'm not 
done with you yet!"

She tried to loosen his hold.  "Let go of me!  Why don't you go fuck 
someone else?  I'm sure there are plenty of people who's willing to 
warm your bed."

"I wanna fuck you!  In fact I wanna do it right now.  Come on baby, 
let me have you now," he pleaded as he started to drag her along.

When he didn't budge as she pushed him by the chest, she brought her 
knee up and hit him hard on his balls.  He winced in pain as he 
doubled over and rolled onto the floor.  "I told you I'm not in the 
mood.  Next time you touch me without my permission, I'll make sure 
you'll never fuck anyone, ever," she declared.  Then she spun on her 
heels and walked briskly down the corridor leaving Commander Riker 
groaning on the floor.

She didn't like hurting anyone but he deserved it.  She felt much 
better when she got to her quarter, especially surrounded by flowers 
from her admirers. Dukat. Worf. Julian.
