Summary: A special someone teaches Geordi that perhaps he isn't as alone in

The engineer works alone in life, surrounded by friends but no one to care
for him as anything more than that.  However, things aren't always what they
seem, as wide innocent amber eyes regard him from the background with
curiosity and a sense of quiet admiration.

His shift is over, and he turns to head back to his quarters.  But a
familiar voice softly addresses him in the corridor with an air of shyness,
and he finds he has company.

"Geordi, I am glad I was able to meet up with you after your shift.  I would
like to know if, instead of returning to your quarters, you can come over to
mine for the evening.  We can have dinner together.."

He smiles, accepting the offer.  And as they head to their dinner
engagement, hand in hand, he doesn't feel so alone anymore.

In fact, he feels quite the opposite.
