bit o' trouble. (Must a' been the little folk.)

Do you know?: That thing masquerading as the official Star Trek 
website doesn't even list our fair-haired and fallible Lt. Kevin 
Thomas Riley!

"Come on! I'll take you all on!" Raising his fists, Riley wobbled 
unsteadily on his feet. The Irish whiskey he'd been drinking stoked 
the fire in his eyes.

"Calm down, lad," said Scotty in a fatherly tone. "Why're you Irish 
always looking for a fight?"

"That's just what this ship needs -- a good Irishman in command!" 
announced Riley.

Scotty pulled out a bottle and poured a shot. "Why don't you sit down 
and drink your drink."

"What is it?"

"It's... uh... it's..." Scotty looked at the bottle. He smelled it. 
He shrugged. "It's green! Happy St. Patrick's Day, Kevin."
