Forbidden Love

There is a man named Miles
Who when seeing his true love smiles
To him he would wish to marry
This love's burdens he would carry
If Keiko was not onto his wiles

'Tis Julian he would hug and kiss
'Tis Julian he would deeply miss
'Tis to Julian his thoughts do stray
Whenever his wife is away
In Julian's arms there would be bliss

At risk of his marriage should he dare
To find out if Julian could care
Or should Miles admire him from afar
As they play darts in Quark's bar
Rather than lay his soul bare?

"Oh for this I am getting too old
If the truth should be told
It may be Julian that I love
Julian who would fit me like a glove
But to tell him would be too bold"

"Tis true that he has won my heart
It'd kill me should we ever part
I love him as I can't my wife
I shall love him all my life
For Julian is deep in my heart."

So to Julian he never dared speak
To declare his love he was too meek
To his wife he stayed married
In spite of the love for another he carried
And saw Julian as much as he could every week.
