I never told Will. He would have made me dish out all the details, and frankly, his fragile ego wouldn't have survived the comparison. How foolish to compare your sexual prowess to that of a machine - but Will would have. It is his nature Though mostly, I didn't tell him because he would have thought it was about the sex.

It was never about the sex.

I think he suspected. At the wake, I sensed genuine relief from him. Even smug satisfaction. I could have killed him right there and then. 

Later that night, when we made love, I almost did.
