After a difficult mission at Ser Etta, the Enterprise is due a refit and her crew are due some shore leave. Starfleet has other plans, however. The most concession they'll make to Kirk's request for a break is a milk-run mission ferrying diplomats from two warring species (The Sythenes and the Voucheron) to a peace conference. And we all know what happens when you ask the Enterprise to transport diplomats....
